First full day-Animal Kingdom & ...

Wednesday November 13

After a late start we headed to Animal Kingdom.  Before we left I asked the front desk to change our fast pass plus times since we missed the first one - the Kilimanjaro Safari.

Well the system is definitely in test phase.  The change was made but only for me but not for the others.  Even though the cast member had set it up for all of us.

So we waited a bit longer in the stand by line.   Lots of animals so I think every one enjoyed the ride. Next was the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.  We enjoyed lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue.  The weather is a bit cooler so it's not quite as enjoyable eating around the pool and watching the birds.  But it is a lovely quiet place to regroup.  Now Its a Bugs Life and a brief close up view of the Tree of Life.  We ended up our visit with Finding Nemo - The Musical followed by the Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade where Santa Mickey as well as Santa appeared.

After a bit of time in our rooms we headed over to Hollywood Studios to see the Osborne Christmas lights.  Wow!!  We were so impressed we didn't even buy anything. Gasp.  All we could talk about was the light display!  Definitely a must see.  I had heard that Hollywood Studios was closing on Thursday at 4 pm for a staff recognition party.  Since we are doing EPCOT from opening to closing on Thursday, and the Christmas party at Magic Kingdom is on Friday, that gives us today to see the lights.  I think we were all happy that we did go to see them.

But seeing the lights tonight starts us on a quest.  Guests were carrying Disney Christmas Travel Mugs.  Where are they getting them?  We asked fellow guests where they found them.  We would get the answer if we spoke German or Spanish.  The guests tried to explain.  They really did.  Oh well...the hunt is on and super shopper tarathesmall will not be beaten!  I am on a QUEST!

Finally back to Pop for our bed time sundae.  A tradition from past visits.  I am sorry to say that the chili fries are no longer available.

Tomorrow is EPCOT.  Be prepared for a full day Ladies.
